SIM cards that are opened are non-refundable.

Activating Your Service:

Your Spain mobile phone number is displayed on the reverse of your Spain SIM card as well as above the bar code upon opening the SIM card packaging. The number will start with a 6.

• Travel to Spain
• Set your cell phone to the GSM 900/1800 frequency
• Be sure the battery on your international cell phone is charged
• Insert the Spain SIM chip into the cellular phone
• Turn on your phone
• Enter PIN code*
• Start calling

To contact the Vodafone Customer Service while in Spain, call 123 from your cellphone. You may also call 607123000 from a landline.

Checking Your Credit:

You may check your credit in two ways:

• Dial *134#, and then talk or send from your cellphone. You will receive a message indicating your remaining credit.
• You may also dial 134 and an automatic voice will indicate your remaining credit.

There is a 0,12 € fee for either consultation method. In any event, whenever your remaining credit is less than 7,21 €, you will be advised that your balance is running when making outgoing calls.

Adding Talk Time:

You can add more talk time to your Spain SIM Card if and when your credit runs out, or even prior to running out. You may purchase recharge vouchers (called Vodafone cupón de recarga) from Cellular Abroad as well as in many convenience stores, gas stations, cellphone stores or at post offices all over Spain. Even if you have zero credit, since incoming calls are always free, you will still be able to receive calls. To add more credit to your prepaid account:

• Scratch off the silver/grey covering to reveal the voucher code
• Dial *133* , then the PIN/recharge code, then #, and then push the send or talk key

Rates:

There are 4 domestic rate plans you can choose from however the default plan and our recommendation is the Dua plan which offers a simple, single flat rate for all of your domestic calls while in Spain. All incoming calls regardless of where they originate are FREE on your Vodefone Spain SIM card.

Service Life:

Unless you recharge your Spain SIM card within 9 months, your credit will be lost. You have another 3 months to recharge your SIM Card in order to keep your Spanish cell phone number, subsequently, your number will be disconnected.
