Prepaid Poland SIM Card Instructions

SIM cards that are opened are non-refundable.

Activating Your Service:

Your Poland mobile phone number is printed underneath the bar code on the reverse of your Poland SIM card packaging, to the right of "Twoj numer" and begins 698 or 696 or similar. The Era cell phone number may also be found in small print on your Era TakTak SIM card.

To start using your service simply:

• Be sure that battery is charged
• Insert the Poland SIM chip into the cellular phone
• Turn on your phone
• Enter the PIN1 code (if required)*
• Set voice prompts to English
• Start calling

* Your phone will prompt you for a 4-digit PIN code, which is located in the duo-fold envelope opposite the Era Poland SIM card. You will be prompted for PIN1. The PUK is only required to unblock you phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.

Adding Talk Time:

Your SIM card has an initial airtime credit of 59 Zloty (US$15.00). Additional credit is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers, also called reload codes (not another SIM card), in Poland. These airtime vouchers are available in 4 denominations:

• 20 Zy ($5)
• 49 Zy ($13)
• 99 Zy ($26)
• 149 Zy ($39) w/179 Zy in airtime

Simply scratch off the gray protective layer to reveal your voucher code. When punched into the keypad of your international cell phone the voucher code will credit your SIM card the respective Zloty denomination you purchased.

Airtime vouchers are available locally, in Poland, at local Tabac shops, convenience stores, Era shops and authorized dealers.

Remember: Do not purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! Your only need a recharge voucher! And your incoming calls are always free even when you run out of airtime.

You can have your remaining airtime credit balance displayed on the LCD of your cell phone by simply dialing *101#

Rates:

Domestic rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Poland from your prepaid Era Poland SIM card while you are in Poland. All incoming calls regardless of where they originate are FREE.

Making International calls from your world cell phone has never been easier with your prepaid Poland SIM card. All rates are per minute for international outgoing calls from an Poland prepaid SIM card within Poland.

GPRS High Speed Data:

With GPRS you pay for the amount of information you receive and send, at a cost of Zy 0.84 ($0.22) per 100Kb (incoming and outgoing). Simply call 221 and ask customer service for GPRS and they will set up the parameters on your phone via SMS.

Service Life:

If you do not recharge your account within 3-months your Mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The 3-month period starts the day you arrive in Poland.
