Code Free Home Theaters
What is code free? Home theaters are the source of entertainment and what is better, when you can watch a movie of your choice at your leisure in that wonderfully decorated entertainment room of yours. But hang on? Can you watch the movie CD that you got from London? All over the world, movies are released on DVDs and these are the DVDs that you watch for your personal entertainment. These DVDs are typically released in America and Europe, which appears in the Asian market 12 months later. At times, these DVDs are surprisingly available in the Asian and European market, before the movie is released in the American picture halls. In order to protect the rights in terms of releasing the movie to the respective places at the right time, an encoding technique has been devised. This is termed as Regional Coding.
This coding is essentially a flag, written into the disc, which signifies the origin of the DVD. Playing this DVD in any other basic home theater equipment is prevented by this coding. As for example, a region which uses the PAL format as the standard, you will never be able to watch that particular DVD if you are using a NTSC standard home theater system, because the two are not compatible. If this DVD has to be played, you must possess a code free home theater system which allows you to view any DVD, no matter what standard it follows. This is what a code free home theater system is.
A home theater comprises of a complete set-up of audio visual equipment for your own entertainment purpose. At the first instance, it is thought that such equipment is requires quite a bit of investment, but when you shop around for one, you will be surprised as to the price levels that these equipment sell for. You have an option to buy the complete system, which is available in the market very easily, or, if you are conversant with the technicalities of the different modules forming the complete set-up, with a full knowledge as to the specifications offered by different manufacturers, you can always choose the modules separately to set-up your own home theater system.
If you are going to choose the different modules which go into setting up the home theater that you want, you will be buying a video projector, a DVD player, separate amplifiers for each channel controlled by a master pre-amplifier, in-wall speaker systems and a couple of sub-woofers. You will then be building a custom made home theater system of your own. In order to go in for such a set up, you must be aware of what you are buying, in the sense, that the specifications of each module you buy should be understood by you and also the make of the products, with knowledge of the quality that the manufacturer offers. You can, no doubt, budget your cost of the total system in this way. For a modest spending, you can have a simple 27 inch colour TV, a basic DVD player, a Hi-Fi VCR, cheap stereo or AV receiver, and of course speakers. At this instance it should be remembered that if you intend to watch DVDs which you bought in the United Kingdom, you must choose to buy a code or region free DVD player instead of the basic one. As for the VCR, you need to take the same factor into account. No doubt that your TV has to be versatile too.
As discussed above, the concept of watching a movie has changed, and it has become essential to watch those most talked about world releases. Here the concept of a code free home theater comes in, since it would allow you to watch movies from any region in the world, immaterial of the fact that they are of PAL or NTSC standard. The code free concept in a home theater is exceptional in the sense that you can watch DVDs of any video format, bought by you from any part of the world. The latest models of home theater equipment allow you to play your any-region favourite movie on any TV, no matter what standard that TV has been designed for. Therefore, if you have an American Region 2 PAL DVD, you can very well watch the movie on your European NTSC TV and that too without a video converter.
The code free home theater system differs from the basic equipment in a way that the former consists of a code free DVD player, which allows you to watch DVD in all formats. The world is divided into six regions, and these are, USA, Europe, Asia Pacific, Australia and Latin America, Africa and Russia and the last is China. The DVD released in each of these regions is coded, such that the CD disc from one region cannot be played on a DVD player of another region. The code free Home theater design has broken this process by letting you watch DVDs from any of the region in the world.
The code free home theater comes with multi-format TV that does not require any external converters for you to watch DVDs from any part of the world. A typical system would consist of 4 Hi-Fi speakers for left & right surround, which include one rear wireless speaker, and a powerful subwoofer. Typically the system generates a total of 500 Watts of power, which is sent to the speaker system. The speaker system comprises of two large frontals, a center channel, and two surround speakers. The theater system also features Dolby Digital and DTS surround decoding.
Home theaters have excellent picture quality that cannot be found in other audio visual equipment. Even during play-back, the equipment maintains perfect picture clarity as the original content, utilising an advanced progressive scan1 playback technique. The picture quality and its clarity are maintained to the highest detail by the deployment of high grade MPEG video decoders.
The code free home theater is the source of your personal entertainment alternative, enjoyed by you, your family and friends, in the comfort of your home and at your own leisure. The code free home theater provides you with the ability to watch movies released in a DVD at any part of the world, with a far greater image and sound quality, better than that of a movie theater.
