Your UK Cell Phone Number:
Your UK SIM card package comes with the phone number for your SIM card printed on the SIM card itself and visible through a window on the back of the SIM card packaging.

Phone Setup and Activation:

• Be sure that your phone is fully charged. It's always a good idea to test your wall charger and battery before you depart, especially if you have not used your GSM phone for a long period of time.
• Snap out the Mobile World SIM chip from the SIM card and insert the chip into your GSM Phone with the metal portion facing down as to make contact with the contact prongs. (You will usually find your phone's SIM tray underneath the battery of your GSM cell phone).
• Register your card so it's ready for use in the UK.
1. Call +44 845 655 5000 from outside the UK or 0800 049 9000 from the UK.
2. Tell the service rep your phone number. It starts with 07 and is on your UK SIM card. (It should also be the topmost of two barcoded numbers on the paper to which the SIM card is attached.)
3. Register the card and add any extra recharge amount you'd like. (The account does not come with any initial credit.) Mobile World accepts most major credit cards.
4. Your prepaid account will be activated within 24 hours. Allow more time for this process on weekends and holidays. Voicemail is automatically provisioned upon activation.
• Your UK SIM card cannot be used until you arrive in the UK.
• Go to the UK
• Be sure the battery is charged
• Make your first call anywhere. (Remember to dial 2 before calling internationally.)

Recharging (Topping-up) Your SIM Card:
There are several ways to add talk time to your Mobile World prepaid account. You can call a customer service number and add more credit before you even depart for the UK. Unlike most foreign carriers, Mobile World takes credit cards based from US banks. You can also call to add more time once in the UK. Recharge vouchers can be purchased at over 600 Carphone Warehouse Stores in the United Kingdom. Once you have the card:

• Scratch off the colored panel to find out the unique top-up code
• Phone 08000 499 000 from your phone and follow the instructions

E-Vouchers are also available from thousands of outlets throughtout the UK wherever there is a yellow PayPoint or green Top-up logos. E-Vouchers are availible in £5, £10 and £20 values only. Once the customer has purchased this voucher then they need to call 08000 499 000 - choose option 1 (topup) and then option 2 (e-voucher topup)

By the way, even if you have zero credit—since incoming calls are always free—you will still be able to receive calls.

Checking Your Call Credit:
You may check your credit at any time calling 08000 499 000 from your cell phone. If the call is made from the mobile - the balance will be immediately conveyed. If made from another phone then use option 2 (balance) and a text message will be sent with the balance. (08000 499 000 is charged at 15p/minute as are all 0800 numbers from MobileWorld.)

Customer Service:
You may contact Mobile World customer service once you are in the UK by calling 0800 049 9000. Hours are M-F 8am to 7pm, Sat 9am to 6pm, Sun 10am to 5pm GMT. Outside the UK, you may call +44 208 896 5000.

Service Life:
MobileWorld will disconnect the service 90 days after the last chargeable call or sms text message. Unused credit is lost after 60 days from the date of topup. The account (phone number) is on hold 90 days after last phone call is made. You have 180 days from the last day of use before the SIM expires. It is possible to reactivate the SIM for a £10.00 fee.
