Activation
Upon arrival into the country, detach the SIM card from its plastic package and insert it into your cell phone according to the cell phone manual. We recommend reading the manual carefully before installation.
Along with the SIM card you receive security codes (PIN code and PUK code) enabling you to access your provider’s services. When you turn on the phone, a PIN code is requested automatically. You can change or turn off your PIN code (your cell phone manual explains the details). If a PIN code is entered incorrectly three consecutive times, the SIM card will be blocked. In order to unblock the SIM card, you need to use the PUK code.
Attention! Your SIM card activates upon making first call. After getting connected to the local network, you can make calls. Upon making the first outgoing call you also will be able to receive incoming calls.
Attention! Your new phone number is indicated on the sticker on the envelope of the SIM card and starts with 062 xxxxxxx
Attention! Do not attempt to place or receive any calls or transfer any data while outside of Holland. If you do so there is a possibility that your account will be frozen and the process to unfreeze it can take up to 2 weeks.
Recharging
The starting credit of T-Mobile Pay As You Go SIM card is approximately 15 min.
In order to recharge your account, purchase a Credit Increasing Card (scratch-card).
It can be done at various kiosks, gas stations, newsstands or in the authorized dealer stores.
To recharge your account dial 1244, then 21, then enter the refill voucher code followed by # and send.
Balance Check: You can check your account balance by calling: 1344 and following the instructions.
