Activating Your Service:

Your Ireland cell phone number is printed on the small booklet that is attched to your SIM card and begins 086. To start using your service simply following the instructions outlined below:

Be sure that battery is charged

• Insert Speakeasy SIM card into the mobile phone
• Turn on your phone^*
• Register your SIM card online at www.o2.ie
• Call Customer Support at 1747 to select your pricing plan (see below)
• Start calling

Customer support for your Ireland Speakeasy prepaid SIM card is available 24 hr./day by dialing 1747 from your Ireland cell phone or by calling 185061747 from landline phone.

Please note: Each call to 1747 is billed at a flat rate of 14c per call. ^* The PUK is only required to unblock you phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Your phone may or may not prompt you for a PIN code. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone along with PIN2.

When calling overseas from the United States to your Ireland cellular phone number callers will need to dial 011 followed by the country code 353 and then your Ireland cell phone number, omitting the first 0 (zero). To call abroad from your Ireland cell phone simply dial 00 followed by the country code and phone number.

Adding Talk Time:

Your SIM card will include an initial airtime credit of to start you off, however to purchase additional airtime for your Ireland SIM card, you will need to purchase Speakeasy Top Up cards. Top Up cards may be in purchased at most convenience stores, O2 dealers, tabac shops and petrol stations throughout Ireland.

Top Up cards are available at face value in EUR10, EUR15, EUR20, EUR25 and EUR30 denominations. Example: A 25 Euro Top Up card will cost you 25 Euro and subsequently will credit your Ireland SIM card for 25 Euro.

Remember: Do not purchase another Ireland SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! Your only need a Top Up card!

Rates:

Domestic rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Ireland from your Ireland SIM card while you are in Ireland. All incoming calls regardless of where they originate are free with your Vodafone ReadyToGo Ireland SIM card. Your Ireland SIM card allows you to choose from between 2 calling plans. The default plan is the 'Standard'.

While roaming you may receive calls from anywhere in the world. You may make local outgoing calls within the country you are roaming in and to Ireland. Calls to other countries are not available while roaming.

GPRS High Speed Data:

GPRS data connectivity is available with your Ireland prepaid SIM card at a very reasonable 0.03€ /kbyte, however a GPRS compatible phone is required. Call O2 customer care at 1747 to configure your Ireland mobile phone for this service.

Service Life:

If you do not recharge your account within 12 months your mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The 12 month period starts the day you arrive in Ireland.
