Rates

Domestic Calls

Domestic rates are per minute for outgoing calls within Grenada from your prepaid SIM card while you are in Grenada. All incoming calls, regardless of where they originate, are FREE. All calls to access voicemail are free as well.

Peak: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm
Off Peak: Monday-Friday 6pm-8am
Weekend: Friday Midnight-Sunday Midnight

International Calls

Making international calls from your world cell phone has never been easier than with your prepaid Grenada SIM card. All rates are per minute for international outgoing calls from your Grenada prepaid SIM card.

Service Life

If you do not recharge your account within 6 months, your mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The 6 month period starts the day you arrive in Grenada.

Activating Your Service

The Grenada SIM card is enclosed in an envelope (containing your Grenada Cell Phone number, security PIN and PUK) which is locally referred to in Grenada as a "Flex Pack". Your Grenada Cellular Phone number will begin 1 (473)...

• Travel to Grenada
• Be sure that the battery is adequately charged
• Insert the Grenada SIM chip into the cellular phone*
• Turn on your phone
• Enter the PIN1 code (if required)^
• Start calling**

Customer service for your Grenada DigiFlex prepaid SIM card is available 24 hours a day by dialing 100 at any time from your Grenada cellular phone.

For emergencies while using your local Grenada GSM SIM card in Grenada please dial 112 from your cell phone.

*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Grenada SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Grenada SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.

^Your phone will prompt you for a 4 digit PIN code, which is located on the welcome letter affixed to your Grenada SIM card. You will be prompted for PIN1. The PUK is only required to unblock your phone if you enter in a PIN code incorrectly. Follow your cell phone manual instructions to correctly use the PUK to unblock your phone.

**When calling overseas from the United States to your Grenada cell phone, callers will need to dial 1 (same country code as the US) followed your Grenada cell phone number. To call abroad from your Grenada cell phone simply dial + on your cell phone followed by the country code and phone number. To call Planetomni you would dial 0018007070031

Adding Talk Time

Your Grenada SIM card (Digicel) comes with an initial starter airtime credit of EC$10 (approx. US$3.72). Additional credit is available through the purchase of airtime vouchers, also called FLEXtime vouchers, as they are referred to locally (not another SIM card). These airtime vouchers are available locally in Grenada at local convenience stores, Digicel shops and authorized dealers. FLEXtime airtime vouchers are available in several denominations:

• EC$10 (approx. US$3.72)
• EC$15 (approx. US$5.60)
• EC$25 (approx. US$9.31)
• EC$40 (approx. US$15)
• EC$70 (approx. US$26)

Simply scratch off the grey protective layer to reveal your voucher code. When punched into the keypad of your international cell phone, the voucher code will credit your SIM card the respective EC (Eastern Caribbean Dollar) denomination you purchased.

Airtime vouchers are available locally in Grenada at local convenience stores, Digicel shops and authorized dealers and any hawker on the street shouting, "Get your phone cards!"

Remember: Do not purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted. You only need a recharge voucher. Your incoming calls are always free, even when you run out of airtime.
