Activating Your Service in French Polynesia:

Your French Polynesia cell phone number will be dynamically assigned to your SIM card once you arrive in Tahiti by simply following the instructions outlined below:

To start using your service simply:

• Be sure that battery is charged
• Insert the French Polynesia SIM chip into the cellular phone
• Turn on your phone
• Enter the PIN (Default 1000)
• Select your language (Dial 222 and option 3)
• Retrieve your phone number (Dial 222 and option 2)*
• Start calling

Adding Talk Time to French Polynesia SIM Cards:

Your SIM card connection pack includes an initial airtime credit of 3267 Fcfp ($32) that is preloaded (includes 318 Fcfp refill card). Additional credit is available through the purchase of a Vini refill card (not another SIM card), in Tahiti. The refill cards cost 4400 Fcfp ($43) and contain 40 minutes of local outgoing calls within the French Polynesian archipelago.

Simply scratch off the gray protective layer to reveal your voucher code. Then from your cellular phone simply dial 222, select option1 and then follow the instructions. When punched into the keypad of your international cell phone the voucher code will credit your SIM card the respective 4400 Fcfp refill you just purchased.

Service Life:

Your initial call credit will expire within 60 days. Every refill will extend the validity of the SIM card and carry over any remaining airtime balance for another 60-day period up to a maximum of 180 days. If you do not recharge your account within the validity period then your Mobile phone number will be recycled and any remaining airtime credit will be forfeit. To get connected again you will be required to purchase another SIM card. The initial 60-day period starts the day you arrive in French Polynesia.
