Rates

Domestic Calls

Incoming calls from domestic numbers are FREE.

International Calls

International rates are per minute for international outgoing calls within the Bahamas from your Bahamas SIM card while you are in the Bahamas.

Incoming calls from international numbers are BSD 0.33 (US$0.33) during peak and BSD 0.15 (US$0.15) during off peak.

Service Life

The account will be suspended and any remaining airtime will be forfeited if you do not recharge within 90 days. After suspension you are given a further 30 days to recharge your account. Failure to do so will result in your Bahamas Service, including your number to be recycled irrevocably. You will be required to purchase a new SIM card in order to continue using the service.

Activating Your Service

Your Bahamas SIM card will provide you with a local cellular phone number. This number will be located on the SIM card and begins 242.

• Travel to the Bahamas
• Be sure that the battery is adequately charged
• Insert the Bahamas SIM chip into the cellular phone*
• Turn on your phone
• Start calling**

To reach customer service while on the Bahamas, you can dial 161 from your mobile phone.

For emergencies while using your local Bahamas GSM SIM card in Bahamas please dial 112 from your cell phone.

*You will need to snap out the thumbnail sized Bahamas SIM card along the perforated edge of its holder and then insert the Bahamas SIM card into your international cell phone with the gold contacts of the SIM card facing the metal contacts of your international cellular phone.

**When calling overseas from the United States to your Bahamas cellular phone, callers will need to dial 1 followed by the area code 242 and then your Bahamas cell phone number. To call abroad from your Bahamas cell phone simply dial 1 and then phone number. For example, to call Planetomni you would dial 0018007070031

Adding Talk Time

In order to add airtime to your Bahamas SIM card, please follow the instructions below. You may purchase additional airtime from most convenience stores, tabac shops and petrol stations in Bahamas.

• Locate the recharge voucher code, affixed to your SIM card package*
• Enter *33(12-digit recharge voucher code) and press 'yes/ok/send'

*At your destination, you may purchase additional airtime in form of scratch cards, where you will need to scratch off the gray protective layer to reveal your recharge voucher code.

REMEMBER: Do NOT purchase another SIM card when your airtime credit is depleted! You only need a recharge voucher!
