Sony Multisystem VCRs

Sony multisystem VCRs allow you to play tapes of different formats, such as NTSC and PAL, and to output them in the same format. So, if you put play a PAL standard tape (UK, Australia, Germany, Italy, Spain and most of Europe except France, which is SECAM) on a multisystem VCR, you will get a PAL signal going out to your television. If your television is an NTSC standard television (USA, Canada and Japan), you will not be able to view the tape. Therefore, in order to see a PAL video tape on an NTSC TV, you need a PAL/NTSC converter that will convert the video signals from the multisystem VCR to the proper format for the TV or a converting multisystem VCR (a multisystem VCR with a built-in converter - we carry these as well). Another alternative is to combine a Sony or other brand multi system VCR with a multisystem television.
