Panasonic SC-BT100 Multiregion Blu-ray Home Cinema System.

This unit has been modified to play blu-ray regions A, B and C, as well as DVD regions 1-6 (region free).

Switching between the blu-ray regions is performed using the original remote control.

The Blu-ray player is updated to the latest firmware version, and is fully upgradeable with official firmware updates.

The SC-BT100 is compatible with the newest Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD 7.1-channel surround sound formats. Sit back and enjoy the incredibly rich, clear and faithful surround sound these high-data formats make possible.

Panasonic has provided the SC-BT100 with special audio technologies that complement the superb quality of its Blu-ray Disc images. The Bamboo Diaphragm Speaker, which was developed by an extensive study of speaker cone materials, achieves high sound quality. The Kelton Subwoofer produces rich, robust bass tones to match the large-screen, high-resolution images. And by aligning the two woofers directly above and below the tweeter, the Vertical Symmetrical Configuration Speaker achieves sharp, clear sounds.

The SC-BT100 provides 1080/24p output. It reproduces movie images from a Blu-ray Disc in their original 24p form, with no need for conversion. You see movies in the same format used in movie cinemas.

The SC-BT100's HDMI output is Deep Colour compatible. While the earlier HDMI V.1.2 offers 8-bit, 256-step gradation, HDMI V.1.3 bumps it all the way up to 12-bit, 4,096-step gradation. This helps the SC-BT100 reproduce natural looking colours with smooth gradation and minimal colour banding.

When playing a BD-Video or DVD disc, the P4HD up-converts content recorded in the 480i/p, or 720p format to 1080p with Precise Pixel Generation that generates each pixel from 60 surrounding pixels of information. You enjoy superb 1080p-level image quality.
